Ms. Jennifer Pline is the Chief Trusts and Gifts Officer at Harvard Management Company, Inc. In that role, she oversees $1.2 billion in trust assets and non-cash gifts for Harvard, directing and implementing investment policy as well as managing Donor Relations and Tax/Accounting for those trusts.

Prior to joining HMC, Ms. Pline worked for 18 years at Standish Mellon Asset Management (formerly Standish, Ayer & Wood, Inc.). She has held positions as a research analyst, portfolio manager, head of the Short Duration Team and most recently, Director of Client Service. In that capacity, she oversaw and directed all client service activities for over $200 billion in fixed income assets and a team of 15 (FTE) client service professionals. She was also a member of the Executive Management Committee, which set business strategy and policy for the firm.

Ms. Pline is a summa cum laude graduate of Boston College, where she also received her MBA. Ms. Pline serves on a number of boards and advisory committees, including the Boston College Finance Advisory Board, Horizons for Homeless Children Advisory Board and the Board of Trustees of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham. She is a member of the Boston Committee on Foreign Relations. She also serves as a Chairman’s Account Executive for the United Way of Massachusetts Bay.
