Making a Gift to the Harvard College Fund
The motivations for making a gift to the Harvard College Fund are highly varied and extremely personal. Some people see Harvard as a vehicle for accomplishing personal goals, perpetuating values or beliefs, or making a critical difference in the world. Other donors value what they themselves received from their predecessors and hope to pass it along in equally fine shape or with a margin of improvement. Still others give because they have a deeply felt confidence that money invested in the College will be well used.

The Harvard College Fund has long believed in the principle of proportionate giving. This means that we welcome all gifts, regardless of size, recognizing that for some donors, a small gift may represent a portion of their income that is equal to a much larger gift by another donor. Whatever your reasons and regardless or your capability, once you have decided to give to Harvard, you have a number of choices for how to make your gift.
